We felt very welcome and would definitely come back. The owner made our stay such great. Large beds, slept like a baby. Its location was quiet, down to the river...

We had the pleasure of staying at a cozy hideaway in the countryside called The Stag Hut. Annette, the owner, greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The hut itself was immaculate and had everything we needed, from a fridge and microwave to a comfortable bed. We loved sitting on the porch, enjoying the stunning views of the fields and woodland. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and we especially enjoyed a walk to the dog falls at Glen Affric. The attention to detail in the hut's furnishings and decor was impressive, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We only wish we could have stayed longer, as one night was simply not enough. I highly recommend The Stag Hut for a comfortable and picturesque getaway.

Located in a serene area surrounded by fields and woodlands, this budget-friendly accommodation offers a warm welcome and cozy comforts. The hut is well-equipped with a microwave, two-hob cooker, and a fridge, ensuring convenience for guests. The large and comfortable bed guarantees a good night's sleep, while the porch provides a picturesque view. Exploring the beautiful surrounding area is made easy, with a specially cleared pathway through tall grass and along a stream. Additionally, the attention to detail, cleanliness, and thoughtful gestures by the host create a delightful stay.
Guests may have to contend with the presence of Scottish midges, so bringing a citronella candle for the decking is recommended.

I recently had an amazing New Year experience at a cozy little spot in the Scottish countryside. The hut was perfectly equipped with everything I needed, including a microwave and fridge to store my New Year's Eve goodies. The location was spot-on, nestled in beautiful scenery and offering lovely country walks right on my doorstep. One of the best aspects was sitting outside and enjoying the peaceful views of fields and woodland. It truly was the perfect way to end the day.
To be honest, I really couldn't find anything to complain about during my stay. The hut was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed.

The Stag Hut in Milton was the perfect retreat for someone like me who craves a direct connection with nature. The apartment had everything I needed, including a fully fitted kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the feeling of being surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.
I personally felt that the microwave in the kitchen was a bit outdated, but hey, that's just me. Others might still find it perfectly functional and enjoy using it.
